Athletic Care and Interdisciplinary Sports Medicine World Summit 2010 Print

IFSP encourage all individuals who are part of our member organisations to join in and represent your profession at the World Summit being held on 11th-13th March 2010 at Congress Innsbruck, Austria.

The quality of care by a specialist very much depends on his or her view and knowledge about adjacent professions & paths. It is important to know how the various disciplines could synergically interlace into eachother to best serve the needs of the active person.

The Innsbruck Congress has aligned all Athletic Care Topics around this theme – the active person. Be it the peak performing athlete, the aging athlete, the handicapped athlete or the child and adolescent. All have one thing in common: adapting to changes in orthostasis.

Changes in Orthostasis

Benefit from this unique approach, where all major Sports Medicine Organisations from all Continents have come together to allow international standards and professional cultures to be exchanged.

All presentations, lectures, workshops and posters, as well as the exhibitions are arranged in the same way to ensure a reasonable link between the issue and the solution.

Be Part of a Solution-Based Scientific Program

Does your field of work deal with any of the adapting phases? Please submit your abstract and let an international audience benefit from your expertise, skill and experience.

The deadline for abstract submission is October 16th, 2009.

Students Welcome!

The scientific committee welcomes submissions of student research projects for poster presentation. The best posters will be appreciated with the Young Investigator’s Award which honors the top three efforts with a total sum of 5,000 Euro. Student delegates of the Innsbruck University will coordinate room mate housing to further facilitate cultural exchange.

Packages are available which include Congress registration and a post Congress cultural tour through the Austrian alps. One Faculty member may attend free per 12 registered students!

Register now and secure your participation at a World Summit, which will deliver a memorable experience and a unique opportunity to expand your professional and social network beyond geographic borders.

To allow a high standard of excellence within the scientific program, registration is limited. Please visit www.sportsmedicine2010.de for more details about the Congress.
